MEN'S GYMNASTICS MISSES MARK AGAINST CAL

BERKELEY, CA -- The Temple Men's gymnastics team fell to the No. 6-ranked Golden Bears 220.95-210.425 in a dual meet Friday, March 11th.  Senior David Ramos posted a 9.500 on the floor exercise, earning him 2nd place in the event, and a 9.100 on the high bar to capture third on the apparatus.

Freshman Luke Vexler placed third on the pommel horse with an 8.700 score.

NCAA Champion (floor exercise and vault) Graham Ackerman for Cal had a stellar performance for the Bears, placing first on both the floor exercise (9.850) and vault (9.700). Ackerman's score on the floor was a career best.

The defeat drops Temple's record to 8-8. The No. 14-ranked Owls will be in action again March 19th in a dual meet vs. Navy at McGonigle Hall beginning at 2 pm.
