PHILADELPHIA -- The Temple men's gymnastics team beat Navy, 211.600-207.245, today in a dual meet at McGonigle Hall.  It was the final career home competition for seniors John Behrle, Travis Kitchen, Abraham Kletzel, David Ramos and Nyika White.

Ramos posted the highest score of the day on vault with a 9.20, just edging out Josh Blackman of the Midshipmen.  Ramos also won the floor exercise with a score of 9.00, and the parallel bars with an 8.90.

White earned an impressive 9.60 on the rings, tying him in first place with Blackman of Navy.  The rings, along with vault, were the Owls strongest events.  Freshman Luke Vexler won the all-around with a 52.700 total, as Temple improved its record to 9-8.

With the victory, the Cherry and White now move into the ECAC Championships, March 25-26, on a positive note under 28th-year head coach Fred Turoff.
