WHITE AND RAMOS WIN EVENT TITLES AT ECAC MEN'S GYMNASTICS CHAMPIONSHIPS AS OWLS PLACE SECOND
3.26.05 | Men's Gymnastics
The team and all-around portion of the Championships were held on Friday. Event finals were contested on Saturday. Army totaled 214.025 points to win the team competition, while William & Mary (210.350) placed third in the eight-team field. Illinois-Chicago's Eric Novick totaled 52.450 points to win the all-around title.
Ramos placed second all-around with a 52.200 score Friday, while freshman Luke Vexler earned fifth all-round with a 51.975 total. Vexler followed-up his performance with a second place finish on pommel horse (9.250) and a third-place showing in the floor exercise (8.950) on Saturday. In addition to capturing the crown on rings, White also earned fifth on vault (9.000).
Sterling Kramer turned-in some impressive performances to boost the Cherry & White. The freshman earned second place finishes on both the high bar (8.925) and parallel bars (8.725), while capturing fourth on pommel horse (8.550).
