MENS GYMNASTICS FALLS SHORT AT ARMY

WEST POINT, NY - The Temple mens gymnastics team fell to No. 11-ranked Army 214.600-210.050 on Friday, March 4 at Gross Sports Center. Senior David Ramos was the Owls' lone event champion with a 9.150 performance on high bar.

Freshman Luke Vexler posted the highest score of the night for Temple, with a 9.300 on the floor exercise, earning him a second place finish. Junior Brian Forquer turned in a noteworthy performance on rings with 9.100 score to finish fourth on the apparatus

The Black Knights captured four of the six team events. No. 15-ranked Temple won the parallel bars (50.900) and high bar (51.650).

The loss drops the Owls' record to 8-7. The Cherry and White return to action at California-Berkeley on March 11 in a dual meet beginning at 7:00 p.m.
