TEMPLE FINISHES 15TH AT FORDHAM INVITATIONAL

BRONX, NY - Freshman Joanna Duffey placed 57th overall in a time of 21:25 to pace the Temple women's cross country team to a 15th place finish at the Fordham Invitational at Van Cortlandt Park on Saturday. Junior Shanice DePass was second for TU and 94th overall (22:52).

Sophomore Rachael Angstadt (117th, 23:42), freshman Ana Gottesfeld (23:48) and freshman Tashae Croxton (134th, 24:38) rounded out the top five for the Owls.

Albany's Jen Ortman won the individual title with a time of 18:52.64, while Penn won the invitational with 37 points.

The Cherry and White are back in action next Saturday, September 16, at the Monmouth Invitational.
