GOLDEN HITS THE AIRWAVES WITH COACH'S SHOWS

PHILADELPHIA - Temple University head football coach Al Golden takes to the airwaves tonight with the debut of his weekly coach's show aptly titled, The Al Golden Show. The show, a 30-minute program broadcast on the radio home of Temple Athletics, The Big Talker 1210 AM, will be taped in front of a live audience at The South Philadelphia Tap Room located at 1509 Mifflin Street at 7:00 p.m. every Monday from September 5 through November 13. It will be broadcast on Mondays at 9:30 p.m.
The show, hosted by longtime Temple radio play-by-play voice Harry Donahue, will feature Golden rehashing the previous Owl football game as well as previewing the team's upcoming 'opponent. Golden will also answer questions from the audience at The South Philadelphia Tap Room, voted "Best of Philly" by Philadelphia Magazine in the categories of Best Beer Bar and Best Jukebox, as well as take calls from listeners. Coach Golden will also have a weekly program on espn 920 AM. The 15-minute program, entitled The Temple Football Show with Al Golden, airs every Monday during the season at 5:20 p.m. The program, hosted by espn 920 radio talent John Mozes and Dan Schwartzman, debuts on Tuesday, September 6 at 5:20 p.m., before moving to its normal time slot on Monday, September 12.
