Women Harriers Close Out Season At ECACs

BRONX, NY - Senior Noelle McKenzie finished 51st in her final collegiate race to lead Temple to a 19th place finish at the ECAC Championship, University Division, on Saturday morning at Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx. She covered the 5k run in a time of 19:54.
Freshman Rebecca Mims was the next Temple finisher, placing 65th in 20:02. Freshman Paige Layng (95th, 20:40), freshman Jen Berman (144th, 21:27), and senior Rachael Angstadt (150th, 21:31) rounded out the top five.
Colgate's Elizabeth Kennedy won the individual race in a time of 18:14. New Hampshire won the team title (68), followed by Colgate (96), Army (153), Towson (158) and Binghamton (178).
Temple returns the bulk of its roster for next season, the fourth for the Owls after resuming varsity competition in 2005.
