Volleyball Falls to Albany 3-1 on Senior Day

PHILADELPHIA - Temple volleyball lost its final match of the season Saturday night against Albany at McGonigle Hall. The Owls finish their season 15-15, 6-7 in A-10 play while the Great Danes improve to 23-8.
Temple's lone senior Patricia Vernon was honored prior to tip off for her tremendous efforts during her career for the Cherry and White. Vernon posted 14 kills and four digs for the Owls.
Junior Yun Yi Zhang tallied 22 kills and six digs for the Cherry and White, while fellow junior Jackie Morrison dished out 47 assists. The Owls posted a .387 hitting percentage to take the second set.
The Owls battled until the end, but dropped the final two sets, losing the match 3-1. The Cherry and White finish their season 15-15, 6-7 in the A-10.
