Men's Gymnastics Sweeps ECAC Rivals Army and UIC

WEST POINT, N.Y. - Senior Luke Vexler took home first place in four different events, helping the #9 men's gymnastics team to victories over ECAC rivals Army and Illinois-Chicago on Friday evening.
The Owls (10-1) finished with a score of 338.850, narrowly besting Illinois-Chicago (337.100) and host Army (331.700) for their sixth consecutive victory. The Cherry and White have not lost since falling to #1 Penn State on January 26th.
Vexler and fellow senior Sterling Kramer were once again the stars for the Cherry and White at West Point. Vexler finished first in the all-around (86.70), floor exercise (15.2), pommel horse (14.30) and vault (15.55). Kramer took home first place on the parallel bars (14.100) and high bar (14.700), and finished second in the all-around (84.950). Sophomore Scott Bloomfield finished second in the rings with a score of 15.400.
The #9 Owls will prepare for a critical meet against #8 Minnesota and # 11 Nebraska next Saturday in Minneapolis. Action is slated to begin at 7:00 a.m.
