Men's Gymnastics Takes Third at Navy Open

ANNAPOLIS, Md. - Senior Jason Russo finished second on vault (15.050), third on parallel bars (13.650) and fourth in the all-around (80.150), as the No. 10 Temple men's gymnastics team took third pace at the Navy Open Satruday night.
The Owls (6-4) finished with a score of 326.35. Host Navy took first place with a score of 332.50, William & Mary finished in second place with 327.75 points, followed by No. 12 Springfield's 324.15 points, No. 14 Air Force's 324.1 points and MIT's 307.65 points.
Along with Russo, severla other Owls turned in top performances. Freshman Matt Martin finished fourth on vault with a score of 15.000 and seventh on high bar (14.000).Sophomore Adam Al-Rokm finished fourth on pommel horse (13.500) and sophomore Blake Collins finished fifth on rings (13.900).
The Owls open the home campaign tomorrow at 1:00 p.m. against Air Force from McGonigle Hall. The meet can be viewed via OwlAccess.
