Men's Gymnastcis Falls to Conference-Rival Illinois-Chicago

CHICAGO - Senior John Vogtman took second place on rings (14.350), but it was not enough as the men's gymnastics team fell to Illinois-Chicago 337.050-331.200 from Chicago on Saturday.

Evan Burke finished third on vault (15.150) and Chris Mooney finshed third on pommel horse (13.700) for the only other top three finishes for the Cherry and White (7-5 ). The Flames (2-5) put end seaosn-best resuts, claiming a first-place finsh in every event.

The Owls are back in action on Friday when they travel to Las Vegas for the Winter Cup Challenge. Action is slated to begin at 12:00 p.m.
