Men's Gymnastics Dominates Springfield 345.600-331.550

SPRINGFIELD, Mass - Posting a season-high score of 345.600, the Temple men's gymnastics (6-4) team put on one of its top performances of the season in defeating Springfield College (331.550) Friday night.
Reigning ECAC Gymnast of the Week Adam Al-Rokh was the star once again for the Cherry and White. In only his second meet since missing the opening part of the season due to injury, the sophomore took first place on all-around (84.800), pommel horse (14.450) and rings (14.750). He also took second in the parallel bars (14.150), and a fifth in the high bar (13.700).
Several other Owls earned first-place finishes against the Pride. Sophomore Tyler Croteau took first on floor exercise with a score of 15.000. Sophomore Scott Bloomfield finished first on vault (15.800) and second on floor (14.550). Freshman standout Matt Martin captured first place on parallel bars (14.550). Senior John Vogtman took second place on pommel horse (13.900), rings (14.450) and high bar (14.050).
It's a short turnaround for the Cherry and White, as they stay in New England to take on MIT Saturday night. Action is slated to begin at 7:00 p.m.
