Eight Owls Selected for NCAA Men's Gymnastics Qualifier

PHILADELPHIA - Eight members of the Temple men's gymnastics team - sophomore Adam Al-Rokh, sophomore Scott Bloomfield, freshman Evan Burke, sophomore Tyler Croteau, junior Patrick McLaughlin, freshman Chris Mooney, senior John Vogtman, and freshman Jeff Zack - have been selected to participate in the NCAA Championships qualifier at the University of Minnesota Sports Pavilion on Thursday, April 16.
The selections were based on individual season scores as well as postseason scores.
Individuals will compete in reverse order of their national qualifying average in a group comprised of three all-arounders, followed by three individuals.
In order to qualify individuals out of Thursday's preliminary competition, the athlete will have had to compile a top three all-around or individual event score if he is not one of the members of any of the top three teams from the respective qualifying session.
