Owls Kick Off 2009 Season on Thursday with Villanova
PHILADELPHIA –Temple Football announced its 2009 team captains on Tuesday, as selected by the players.
Representing the offense are senior TE Steve Maneri (Saddle Brook, N.J.), senior OT Devin Tyler (Suitland, Md.), and junior QB Vaughn Charlton (Landenberg, Pa.). Senior NT Andre Neblett (Rahway, N.J.), senior LB Alex Joseph (Stamford, Conn.), and senior S Dominique Harris (Washington, D.C.) represent the defense.
Temple opens the 2009 season on Thursday, Sept. 3 with Villanova at 7 p.m. in the inaugural Mayor's Cup at Lincoln Financial Field.
