Nine Temple Players Receive Midseason Honors from Phil Steele

Owls Travel to Buffalo for Saturday Game

CLEVELAND – Phil Steele released his midseason All-MAC Team this week, and nine Temple football players have been recognized.

The Owls' first-team honorees are sophomore RB Matt Brown (Baltimore, Md.) and junior DT Muhammad Wilkerson (Linden, N.J.).

Named midseason second-team All-MAC selections are sophomore RB Bernard Pierce (Ardmore, Pa.), senior OL Colin Madison (Villa Park, Ill.), and senior OL Darius Morris (Long Branch, N.J.).

Junior TE Evan Rodriguez (North Bergen, N.J.), senior PR Delano Green (Fredericksburg, Va.), senior LB Elijah “Peanut” Joseph (Hartford, Conn.), and senior P Jeff Wathne (Ledgewood, N.J.) have earned third-team recognition.

Temple (5-2, 2-1 MAC) travels to Buffalo (2-4, 1-1) on Saturday, Oct. 23 for a Noon game at UB Stadium. ESPN Plus/GamePlan/espn3.com will televise the game nationally (shown locally on 6ABC).
