Team White Walks Off With Cherry & White Fall Classic Sweep

Day Two Highlights

AMBLER, Pa.
- Team White swept the Temple baseball team's annual Cherry & White Fall Classic by winning game four in come from behind fashion on Saturday morning.  The White squad won the continuation of game three, then came back in game four and won the game on a walk-off single from junior Foster Dunigan.

Redshirt-sophomore Steve Visnic earned a shutout win in game three.  Junior Jabair Khan and sophomore Elijah Yarborough each had RBI in the contest. 

Game four came down to the wire, with White sneaking out the 4-3 comeback win.  Freshman Phil Gianakos, junior Taylor Juran, Yarborough and Dunigan each posted one RBI for Team White.  Redshirt-sophomore Matt Elko drove in two runs for Team Cherry, with one from senior Ryan Ferguson which gave Cherry the lead heading into the final inning.  Freshman Ryan Davis earned the win for game four, with classmate Matt Hockenberry taking the loss.
