Women's Cross Country Preps For Atlantic 10 Championships This Saturday

Women's 5k set to start at 9:00 a.m. on October 30

PHILADELPHIA - The Temple women's cross country team continues to improve with each year of competition, and looks to make big strides at this year's Atlantic 10 Championships which are being held Saturday, October 30 at Schenley Park in Pittsburgh, Pa.

The Owls are traveling a young squad of just two seniors and two juniors.  Senior Rebecca Mims has led the Owls in all but one meet this season, making her final appearance at the conference championships.  Fellow senior Jennifer Berman is also competing for the final time at A-10's.

Juniors Karrie Finn and Amy Stansbury are the next most experience Owls traveling this weekend. Sophomores Katherine Frank, Rayna Kratchman and Dierdre MacFarlane and freshmen Kelly Broadbent, Stephanie Dorantes, Taylor Goldsworthy and Sarah Rutter round out the travel roster.

Start time for the 2010 Atlantic 10 Championships is slated for 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 30 at Schenley Park in Pittsburgh Pa.
