Freshman Sarah Rutter leads the Owls with time of 23:29

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. - Freshman Sarah Rutter led the Temple women's cross country team to a 25th place finish at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional, held Saturday afternoon at Penn State. Rutter ran the course in a time of 23:29 to place 122nd overall.

Senior Rebecca Mims was the second fastest finisher for the Cherry and White, running a time of 23:44 to place 136th. Freshman Stephanie Dorantes placed 139th in a time of 23:46, senior Jen Berman placed 175th in a time of 25:00, senior Briana Linneman finished 185th in 25:42 and sophomore Katherine Frank rounded out the pack in 188th (25:46).

The Temple women's cross country team's ECAC qualifiers will travel to the Bronx, N.Y. to compete in the ECAC Championship on November 20.
