Men's Gymnast Scott Bloomfield Competes At 2010 Visa Championships

HARTFORD, Conn. - Temple men's gymnastics standout Scott Bloomfield recently competed at the 2010 Visa Championships at the XL Center in Hartford, Connecticut on August 11. Bloomfield fared well in the field, but was unable to qualify for the finals of the meet.
The Wallingford, Conn. native (Xavier/American Gymnastics) posted a score of 14.550 on vault, 13.800 on parallel bars, 11.600 on rings, and 13.450 on floor in front of a hometown crowd. The 2010 ECAC Vault Champion, Bloomfield will return to the Owls next season for his final year of competition.
