The Temple golf team finished 10th among 15 teams at The McLaughlin in its season-opening three-round tournament that was hosted by St. John's University.
Senior Andrew Mason
led the Owls and tied for seventh overall with a one-under par three-round total of 209. Freshman Connor McNicholas
was next for the Cherry and White, carding a six-over 216 in his first collegiate competition. He finished tied for 34th.
Freshman Steve Burak
had the best final round, a one-over 71, and had a three-day total of 220 to tie for 54th. Sophomore Devin Bibeau
(22-73-77=222) tied for 63rd while freshman Russelll Hartung (77-76-75=228) rounded out the TU squad in 73rd place.
Temple next takes the lincs on Monday at the Adams Cup in Newport, RI.
