HOLMDEL, N.J. - Senior Rebecca Mims turned in the Owls top time of the day as the Temple women's cross country team competed at the 16th Annual Monmouth Invitational, held Saturday morning at Holmdel Park. Mims placed 21st in a competitive field of runners, clocking in at 20:12.4.
Junior Karrie Finn ran the next best time for Temple, running 20:18.9 for a 25th place finish. In her first collegiate meet, freshman Stephanie Dorantes ran a time of 20:26.7 for a 28th place finish.
Temple is back in action next when they compete at the Paul Short Invitational on October 1.
