Owls' junior won all-around in home tri-meet
PHILADELPHIA - For the first time this season, Temple men's gymnastics junior Chris Mooney was named ECAC Gymnast of the Week. Mooney, who won the all-around in the Owls' home tri-meet with Penn State and Army, shares the award with West Point's Kip Webber.
A native of Freeland, Md., Mooney posted a season high total o to capture the all-around as Temple posted a season best of 341.400 to place second to #5 Penn State (351.800) and Army (259.500) at McGonigle Hall. Mooney also placed third on floor exercise (14.300) and second on vault (15.700).
