Men's Gymnastics Gets Back On Track With Win Over Arizona State

Owls post team score of 337.100 to Sun Devil's 329.700
TEMPE, Ariz. - Led by four individual first place finishes the Temple men's gymnastics team gained some much needed momentum with a 337.100-329.700 win over Arizona State on Friday night. Senior Patrick McLaughlin won on two events, while juniors Taylor Brana and Chris Mooney each took home an individual title.
The Owls started on pommel horse, an event they had struggled on in their last meet. Temple came through with no falls, led by a first place finish by Mooney with a score of 14.300. On rings, Brana cruised for a first place finish with a score of 14.200. McLaughlin posted a pair of gold medal performances, winning on parallel bars with a score of 14.000 and on high bar with a score of 14.600.

Up next for the Owls is the team's final regular season and home meet of the year, as Temple hosts Navy on March 19 at 2:00 p.m. in McGonigle Hall.
