Men's Tennis Completes Sunday Sweep With 7-0 Win Over Fordham

The Temple men's tennis team posted its second win of the day, a 7-0 blanking of visiting Fordham at the TU Pavilion Sunday afternoon. The Owls improved to 12-5 win the victory.

The Owls only allowed two points in doubles play with Andrey Morozov and Mansur Gishkaev sweeping their second doubles match and the teams of Filip Rams and Taylor Hairston and Dmitry Vizhunov and Kacper Rams allowing just one point each at first and third doubles, respectively.

The Rams brothers, Filip and Kacper, did not allow a point in sweeping their first and fourth singles matches. Stanislav Stekolshikov and Gishkaev posted 6-1, 6-1 wins at second and fifth singles while Vizhunov (6-1, 6-0) and Hairston (6-1, 6-2) also won easily at the third and sixth slots.

The Owls next play at Duquesne on April 1.
