MAC Media Day Notes
DETROIT –The Mid-American Conference (MAC) will host its 2011 Football Media Day on Tuesday, July 26, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Ford Field in Detroit. The MAC Football Media Day kicks off the season, which officially begins on Thursday, Sept. 1, and will conclude with the 2011 Marathon MAC Football Championship on Friday, Dec. 2 at Ford Field.
Joining MAC Commissioner Dr. Jon Steinbrecher will be all 13 head coaches from member institutions as well as two student-athletes from each university.
Representing Temple University are first-year head coach Steve Addazio, senior center John Palumbo (Lyndhurst, N.J.), and senior defensive end Adrian Robinson (Harrisburg, Pa.).
The brand new MAC Digital Network will broadcast all of this year's interviews LIVE and FREE of charge on the web. Temple is expected to appear at 10-10:10 a.m.

Temple returns 46 lettermen, including 13 starters. The Owls open the 2011 season with cross-city rival Villanova in the third annual Mayor's Cup, sponsored by Dunkin' Donuts, at Lincoln Financial Field on Thursday, Sept. 1. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
Temple also hosts Penn State on Sept. 17 at Noon at Lincoln Financial Field. Season tickets for Temple Football are available now for as low as $20 per game by calling the Temple Ticket Sales Office at 215-204-8499 or visit www.OwlsTix.com. Individual game tickets are on sale now through Ticketmaster.
