The first tie-breaking procedure is results in head-to-head competition.

Temple has won nine of its last 11 games, recently having a five-game win streak snapped at #17 Richmond. Sophomore Amber Youtz leads the Owls with 20 goals and is tied for first with Katie Briglia with 10 assists. The Minutewomen, ranked 18th in the national poll, are 10-8 overall and 4-1 in the league. UMass has an impressive streak going with five straight wins, a streak which started with a 2-1 upset victory over #1 Syracuse.

Saint Joseph's is 4-13 overall and 1-4 in the A-10, and will need help from other teams as well as wins this weekend to have a chance at a tournament berth. The Hawks have lost four straight, and will play at VCU on Friday before traveling to Temple on Sunday.

KATIE BRIGLIA DAY

Off the field, Katie has twice been named to Temple's President's Honor Roll for having a GPA above 3.5. She is a communications major from Phoenixville, Pa.

"It's exciting," said Briglia. "A lot of my old teammates are coming back, some of the seniors from last year, so that'll be really fun to see people. I would love to win on Senior Day. It would just make the day that much better."
