Men's Cross Country Closes Out Season At IC4A Championships

The 2012 cross country season came to an end for Temple Men's Cross Country on Saturday, as it participated in the IC4A Championship held at Van Courtlandt Park in the Bronx, N.Y. As a team, the Owls placed 14th.

Leading the rush for the Cherry & White was junior Will Kellar, who placed 35th overall with a time of 26:07. Following not far behind was sophomore Matt Kacyon with a time of 26:46. 

Also finishing for the Owls was freshman Steven Flynn with a time of 27:33 and sophomore Cullen Davis completing the race in 27:49.

Phase one of Temple's running season is now in the books, triggering it to now turn their attention and preparation for indoor track and field season, which will get underway Dec. 7 at the annual Jack Pyrah Invitational.
