Men's Gymnastics Moves Up To No. 9 In Latest National Poll

PHILADELPHIA - In this week's GymInfo national poll, the Temple men's gymnastics team is ranked No. 9, which is up one spot from last week's No. 10 ranking. On Sunday afternoon in their final regular season home meet, the Owls claimed their third meet victory in four competitions this season. Overall, the Owls are 11-1 on the year with an average team score of 338.767. The only school to outdo Temple this season was No. 2 Penn State back on Jan. 27 at the West Point Open.

Temple ranks in the top 10 with its average score in four of six events.

The Owls are ranked seventh on both pommel horse (56.533) and still rings (57.733), eighth in floor exercise (58.133) and 10th on the vault (57.400)

The No. 9 Temple Owls put their national ranking on the line when they head to Army for a dual-meet with the Black Knights on Friday at 7:00 p.m.  Temple will remain at West Point since it will take part in a tri-meet against Army and Springfield on Sunday at 1:00 p.m.
