PHILADELPHIA-- The Temple Owls opened spring football drills on Monday at Edberg-Olson Hall.
All practices are open only to Temple football alumni, current high school prospects, and approved high school coaches, provided the individuals register in Edberg-Olson Hall before visiting the field. Practices are closed to the general public.
The Owls (9-4 overall), who join the BIG EAST Conference this fall for football, return 38 letterwinners, including nine starters. Temple opens the 2012 season with Villanova in the fourth annual Mayor's Cup at Lincoln Financial Field on Friday, Aug. 31.
Temple football season tickets are on sale now and can be purchased by calling the Temple Ticket Sales Office at 215-204-8499 or visit www.OwlsTix.com.
