Men's Soccer Invites Youth Soccer Programs For Appreciation Day This Sunday

PHILADELPHIA - Sunday's Temple Men's Soccer match against Howard will be part of Youth Soccer Appreciation Day at the Ambler Sports Complex.
Youth teams are encouraged to come out to the game early for a full day of events.
Beginning at 10:15 a.m., those attending will have the opportunity to meet the coaching staff and ask any questions they may have. Following that, the coaches will take the players through a typical pregame “chalk talk”.
From 10:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m., players will have an opportunity to play on Temple's practice field.
Before the 1:00 p.m. start to Temple's match against Howard, 22 players will be selected at random to be player escorts and another 12 will be selected at random to be a ball boy/girl for the game. All ball boys/girls will receive an exclusive Temple t-shirt.
All players will receive a Temple Men's Soccer team photo card, which can be signed by the players at the autograph session after the match.
Throughout the match a raffle will be held. Prizes included, but are not limited to: autographed Temple memorabilia, a framed Philadelphia Union jersey, which is autographed by the entire Union Team, and four tickets to an upcoming Philadelphia Union game at PPL Park.
All youth players wearing their jersey will receive one complimentary raffle ticket.
