PHILADELPHIA –
Kristian Marquart was the only Temple player still active at the Penn Invitational on Sunday, playing at the Quaker flight. The first annual tournament is being held at the University of Pennsylvania on Friday-Sunday, September 28-30.

Marquart was scheduled to play Penn's Blaine Willenborg in the consolation final, but the match was never played due to a schedule change and the two players were named co-champions at the flight. Marquart did have a match against Brown's Ivan Kravtchenko, falling 6-2, 6-7(1), 7-5.

The Owls are active next at the Drexel Invitational on October 12-13.
