Women's Soccer Loses at No. 24 UCF 4-1

ORLANDO, Fl. – Women's soccer dropped an American Athletic Conference road game to No. 24 UCF on Sunday afternoon 4-1 at UCF Soccer Complex. The loss drops Temple's record to 6-6-1, 1-3-0.
UCF scored three goals in the first half. Kayla Adamek headed in a ball at the 13th minute from a cross from Ashely Nicol. In the 30th minute, Karoline Heinze took a pass from Sophie Howard inside the box and scored right in front of the net. Katy Ling dribbled the length of the field and shot the ball in the far post in the 37th minute.
Temple's lone goal came in the 38th minute by Jillian DiBlasi. It was DiBlasi's first goal of her collegiate career.
The Knights added another goal in the second half at the 55th minute. Tatiana Coleman received a cross from the left side of the field from Marleigh Howard and scored.
Goalkeeper Shauni Kerkhoff made 8 saves as the Knights outshot the Owls 25-5 in the game.
Up next for the Owls is another road game at UConn next Friday at 7:00 p.m. The Huskies are 8-6-0, 2-2-0.
