Men's Soccer Goalkeeper Dan Scheck Named Under Armour OwlSports.com Athlete of the Month

Philadelphia – Dan Scheck has been named the Under Armour OwlSports.com Athlete of the Month for the month of October, 2013.
In seven games in October, goalkeeper Dan Scheck didn't lost a single game in net while playing every single minute for the Owls for a 3-0-4 record. Two of those wins were shutouts. In total, he only allowed six goals for a goals allowed average of .076. He made 31 saves on 37 shots on goal for a save percentage of 0.838.
Scheck has played every single minute in net for the Owls this season. Going into tomorrow's game, he is tenth in the nation with a save percentage of 0.855. He has only allowed 12 goals all year, and also has eight shutouts. With his stellar play in goal, the Owls are in a position to finish in the top four of the conference and host a quarterfinal match in the conference tournament after the team was picked to finish dead last in the preseason by the coaches. The team plays its final regular season home game tomorrow on Senior Day against Cincinnati at 1:00 p.m.
