Dubrow and Pavone Lead Women's Track in First Outdoor Meet

COLUMBIA, SC - The women traveled to Columbia, S.C. this weekend to compete in the Weems Baskin Invitational hosted by the University of South Carolina for their first outdoor meet of the season.

The 5000m race saw back to back finishes by the Owls. Sophomore Jenna Dubrow finished in first place with her time of 17:30.12. Dubrow was directly followed by junior Anna Pavone who placed second (17:39.92).

Senior Tessa West placed second in the 400m hurdles with her time of 1:04.35. In the same race sophomore Kaitlyn McSurdy placed sixth 1:06.74.

The 4x100m relay saw Senior Isatta Kenneh, junior Gennie Depass, freshman Demisha Davis, and senior Crystal Hercules combined for a fourth place time of 47.80.

After a successful first outdoor meet, the women will travel to the University of Texas for the Texas Relays on March 27th and 28th.
