Richman Named to U.S. Maccabiah Games Team

PHILADELPHIA—Freshman Jordyn Richman of the Temple women's soccer team is one of 19 players selected to represent the United States at the 19th Maccabiah Games July 17-30 in Jerusalem, Israel, as announced by head coach Abby Richter.

The team is slated to travel to Israel for training camp July 7-11, before it begins the Israel Connect Program July 11-18. During the program, athletes will train in the morning before travelling to various cultural sites including New and Old Jerusalem, Bedouin Tents, Metzada, Dead Sea and Yad Vashem, the Jewish Holocaust Memorial.

Richman, a native of Boca Raton, Fla., saw action in the back field during two games in her rookie season at Temple last fall.  Before her arrival to TU, she captained her West Boca High School team and dished out a team-high 19 assists as a senior.
