A total of 105 Temple University
student-athletes participated in Thursday's 126th annual Commencement ceremonies at the Liacouras Center. The Commencement exercises celebrated the achievements of the largest graduating class in Temple history with more than 9,000 graduates.
The 105 student-athletes represented all 24 of Temple's intercollegiate sports. Football had the most graduates with 22, followed by men's gymnastics and women's lacrosse with nine apiece. Baseball, men's crew, women's crew, women's soccer, and women's track & field had seven graduates each. The numbers include fall 2012 and summer 2013 graduates.

Today's commencement is the byproduct of our commitment to academic excellence.”
In celebration of the accomplishments of the graduating seniors, Temple Athletics hosted a reception on Wednesday evening prior to graduation exercises for the student-athletes and their families. The Department presented each graduate with a special Student-Athlete sash that was worn during the ceremonies.
