Football Travels to Idaho for Saturday Clash
9.24.13 | Football
Temple continues its season by travelling to Idaho after an 0-3 start and a bye week. This will be the first ever meeting of the two schools. The Owls have not travelled this far west since the 2011 Gildan New Mexico Bowl, and not during the regular season since the 2005 season opener at Arizona State. The 2,595 mile trip to Moscow, Idaho, is the longest for Temple this season followed by a 1,463 mile excursion to play SMU in Dallas, Texas.
The Owls' radio broadcast will air on 97.5 The Fanatic with Harry Donahue calling the play-by-play and Paul Palmer providing color analysis. The game will be televised on Altitude TV (available on DirecTV channel #681).
Both Temple (0-3) and Idaho (0-4) are looking for their first wins of the season. In fact, each school is led by a first year head coach - Temple's Matt Rhule and Idaho's Paul Petrino - seeking their first victory.
