- Alli Lokey, a former standout midfielder for Temple field hockey, was recently inducted into the Elizabethtown Area High School Athletic Hall of Fame. Lokey, a three-time Atlantic 10 All-Conference selection and A-10 Offensive Player of the Year as a senior, was a three-sport athlete in high school.
Lokey earned four varsity letters in both field hockey and basketball while at Elizabethtown, and two in softball. She was captain of the field hockey and basketball teams for two years and the softball team for one. Her greatest success came in field hockey, where she was a three-time Lancaster-Lebanon League all-star and first team PIAA all-state selection her senior year.
On the hardwood, Lokey was a Lancaster-Lebanon League all-star her junior and senior years. She also led the Lady Bears to the Section II championship during the 2003-2004 season. In softball, Lokey capped a stellar career by being named to the Lancaster-Lebanon League all-star team.
Lokey graduated from Elizabethtown in 2004 and went on to great success as an Owl. As a senior, Lokey finished second in the nation in goals scored with 46, and was named A-10 Player of the Week four times. She led the Owls to the A-10 regular season title and was named the Offensive Player of the Year for the conference. Lokey was also named to the A-10 All-Championship Team, and went on to earn All-Region First Team honors for the second year in a row. To cap an outstanding career, Lokey was named to the NFHCA All-America Second Team. She finished her Temple career with 37 goals which ranks eighth all-time, and her 95 career points also rank eighth all-time.
