Lacrosse Set to Host 8th Annual Philly 5 Tournament on Sunday

PHILADELPHIA - The eighth annual Philly 5 Lacrosse Tournament returns to Temple on Sunday, Oct. 19 at Geasey Field, featuring Temple, Drexel, La Salle, Saint Joseph's and Villanova in fall exhibition play. Temple and La Salle will also play a combined games with alums from their programs as part of the tournament.
This tournament features the top lacrosse talent in the area. Fans will be able to witness the top local rivalries in action at this highly-anticipated annual event.
The Philly 5 Tournament aims to bring Division I women's lacrosse schools in the Philadelphia area together for a day of competition and promotion of the sport in the city. The five college teams will play from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., followed by the game between Temple and La Salle which will also feature alumni.
T-shirts will be on sale at the tournament for $20.
