TULSA, Okla.
- Senior Jenna Dubrow placed 18th at the women's cross country American Athletic Conference Championship Friday morning out of 85 competitors. Dubrow finished the 6K race in a time of 21:50, improving from her 23rd place finish at the meet last year.

"The conference meet on the women's side is very deep," said coach James Snyder. "It was great to see Jenna compete in the front of the race with some of the best runners in the country."

The next finisher for Temple was freshman Catherine Pinson who posted a 31st place finish in 22:35.

Connecticut's Emily Durgin won the race in 20:29 and Tulsa was the top team finisher with all five of their scoring runners finishing within 34 seconds of each other.

The Owls will look ahead to competing in the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional at Penn State University on Nov. 14 for a chance to qualify for the NCAA championships.

"All of our training and preperation this year has been geared toward the championship season," said Snyder. "We need to build on our momentum and continue to progress together as a team in order to compete at regionals."
