Scouts from thirteen different NFL teams came to the Temple University Pro Day today to see 19 players workout as they prepare for the 2014 NFL Draft. Additionally, Philadelphia Eagles head coach, Chip Kelly, and offensive coordinator, Pat Shurmur, were on hand.

The players were put through an extensive display of measurements and physical testing (height, weight, arm span, hand size, vertical jump, bench press) and individual workouts (40-yard dash, shuttle run, 60-yard shuttle, 3 cone drill, broad jump, position drills).

Twelve of those 19 players were Temple seniors from 2013 - OL Cody Booth, DL Levi Brown, LB Blaze Caponegro, TE Chris Coyer, WR Clinton Granger, DL Kamal Johnson, DB Zamel Johnson, P Paul Layton, WR Deon Miller, TE Chris Parthemore, DB Abdul Smith, OL Pete White. All 12 have finished their Temple University football career with a four-year degree.

Former Temple players who participated were: OL Pat Boyle, RB Montel Harris, WR Tyron Harris, and LB Gary Onuekwusi.

In addition RB Travis Friend (Bucknell; brother of Temple center Kyle Friend) WR A.J. Alexander (Florida State; from nearby Altoona, PA) and RB Nahum Purdie (Cheyney) participated in the workout at Temple's facilities.
