Special Youth Season Tickets On Sale Now
5.13.14 | Football
Ticket packages for the upcoming 2014 Temple Football season are on sale now. New this year is a special youth football season ticket. For only $30 ($5/game), kids ages 18 and under can enjoy all six of the Temple Owls home games at Lincoln Financial Field. In addition, these young season ticket holders will receive a T-shirt, an opportunity to take part in the High-Five Tunnel prior to one game, a monthly newsletter and many other season ticket holder benefits.
"The atmosphere surrounding college athletics is a safe, fun-filled family environment," said Owls head coach Matt Rhule. "My [9-year old] son loves to come see the pageantry of the marching band and spirit squad, the cheering from the student section, [Temple Owl mascot] Hooter, Stella (a four-year old owl from the Elmwood Park Zoo), and the players engage with our young fans."
Added Scott Walcoff, Associate Athletic Director of Sales & Marketing, "This youth season ticket provides an affordable, family-friendly option for the many Temple alumni and sports fans across the Philadelphia area. With interactive pre-game entertainment, fun in-game promotions and exciting college football action, Temple Football games at Lincoln Financial Field are truly one of the best sports-entertainment values in town for parents and their kids."
In a short time, Temple and the new American Athletic Conference have proven to be high quality, yet affordable, entertainment. Last year alone, Temple fans attending games at Lincoln Financial Field witnessed a BCS Bowl Game Champion (UCF) and four 2014 NFL first round draft choices – not to mention the six Owls who were signed to NFL rookie free agent contracts. This season, East Carolina and Tulsa - two of the Conference's three new schools (Tulane being the other) make their first trip to Philadelphia in over 20 years.
In addition to this special $30 youth season ticket, regular season ticket prices of $240 (club level), $168 (sideline), and $99 (end zone) are available. Youth tickets must be purchased with a regular season ticket. Tickets can be purchased by calling the Temple Ticket Sales Office at 215-204-8499. Visit www.OwlsTix.com for more information.
