Men's Tennis Begins Competition at Penn Invitational

PHILADELPHIA - The Temple men's tennis team played twice on Friday at the Penn Invitational, a non-team scoring event which is hosted by the Quakers this weekend.

The Owls began play against St. John's Friday morning and lost each of the six matches played before dropping five of six with Buffalo Friday afternoon. Against UB, junior Santiago Canete was victorious against his opponent by a score of 4-6, 6-3, 6-1 at No. 4.

The tournament will resume play Saturday morning.
