Temple Men's Crew made an appearance at the King's Head Regatta this past Sunday. On the Schuylkill River in King of Prussia, the Owls entered six boats, all finishing first or second with great times.
The Owls entered the Men's Club 4+, with the boats finishing with times 16:21 and 17:01, respectively. The winning boat included rowers Truman Levine
(coxswain), Collin McKinney (stroke), Charles Anderson
(seat 3), Thomas Robbins (seat 2) and Ryan Dartnell
Temple also participated in the Men's Club 8+ with two boats. Comprised of Katie Funck (coxswain), Conor Murphy
(stroke), Gary Wielgus
(seat 7), Brian Reifsnyder
(seat 6), Daniel Sipzner (seat 5), Bryan Berry
(seat 4), Evan Hammond
(seat 3), Steve Lindeman (seat 2) and David Buckley (bow), this Owl crew finished with a time of 15:26. Julia Wolanski (coxswain), Dylan McCreavy
(stroke), Austin Theuret (seat 7), Micheal Pellegrini (seat 6), Nikolas Dula
(seat 5), Andrew Grochowski (seat 4), Matthew Minns (seat 3), Vito DiPentino (seat 2) and Joseph Fairweather (bow) made up Temple's second boat finishing with a time of 15:37.
In addition, two Temple boats competed in the Men's 2-. The first pair of Owls, Charles Anderson
(stroke) and Thomas Robbins (bow) finished with a time of 17:42, while the second, Collin McKinney (stroke) and Ryan Dartnell
(bow), finishing two seconds later with a time of 17:44.
