Football's Matakevich, Ioannidis Accept Invitations to Senior Bowl

PHILADELPHIA – Temple defensive lineman Matt Ioannidis and linebacker Tyler Matakevich have accepted invitations to participate in the 67th annual Reese's Senior Bowl following the 2015 season. The premier showcase for college football players will be Saturday, January 30th in Mobile, Alabama. In all, 17 players committed to the game among the initial invites. Matakevich is four tackles away from becoming the seventh player in FBS history to collect 100 or more in all four collegiate seasons. He has been named a semifinalist for the Bednarik Award, Lott IMPACT, and Rotary Lombardi Award. Ioannidis has played well in a talented defensive line rotation for the Owls. He has 10.5 tackles for loss on the season, second behind Matakevich on the team, including 3.5 sacks.
