In the Week 10 Rankings, the Owls are 21st in both polls

Football Soars to No. 21 in AP, Coaches Polls

PHILADELPHIA – After their fifth win on the road in 2015, Temple football got a boost in its national rankings. The Owls climbed two spots to 21st in both the Amway-USA Today Coaches Poll and the AP Poll.

This marks the fourth consecutive week the Owls are ranked, the most in school history. In addition, the Owls opened the College Football Playoff Rankings (CFP) at 22nd, the school's first inclusion. The next CFP rankings will be released on Tuesday night. 

Temple can wrap up the East division and secure its spot in the American Athletic Conference's inaugural championship game with a win over USF on Saturday. Kickoff in Tampa is set for 7:00 p.m. and will air on CBS Sports Network.
