- After starting the season 3-0, Temple lacrosse suffered its first loss at the hands of visiting Cornell on a snowy Saturday afternoon at Geasey Field. The Big Red used a 7-0 run that stretched from the first half into the second to put the game away, eventually winning 17-8.
The snow began falling early, and the game was ultimately called with 7:17 left on the clock due to unplayable field conditions.
It was the first game of the season for Cornell, and the Big Red got hat tricks from three players led by Lindsay Toppe with five goals and an assist.
Temple's Nicole Tiernan
