Two First-Place Finishes for Track and Field on Final Day of Colonial Relays

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - On the final day of the Colonial Relays, Temple track and field earned two first-place finishes. Overall, the Owls placed fifth out of 49 teams. 

Junior Jamila Janneh took first place in the triple jump with a distance of 11.75m and the 4x200m relay team made up of sophomores Jimmia McCluskey and Bionca St. Fleur, along with Nicole Cummings and junior Imani Shell won the event in 1:40.30.

The same relay team took second place for the Owls in both the 4x100m and 4x400m relays with times of 46.91 and 3:48.60, respectively.

Nicole Cummings finished sixth in the 100m hurdles final with a time of 14.48 seconds. Sophomore Sydnee Jacques finished fourth in the triple jump with a mark of 11.40m.

Temple will be back in action next weekend at the Mason Spring Invitational hosted by George Mason University.
