Dave MacWilliams Ultimate Soccer Academy To Hold Residential Camps

PHILADELPHIA – Dave MacWilliams Ultimate Soccer Academy will hold two residential camp sessions, July 12-15 and July 19-22. The camps, run by the Temple men's soccer coach, are open to any and all ages 12 and up at Gwynedd-Mercy College (1325 Summneytown Pike, Gwynedd Valley, Pa. 19437).
Featuring a staff of top head and assistant coaches, as well as current players, the camp's goal is to expose camp participants to the next level of soccer. Using training methods applied in college soccer, the camp is an ideal setting for players who have aspirations of playing collegiate soccer at the top level. The camp participants will work closely with an experienced staff, through a series of tactical and technical sessions, while showcasing themselves in full field matches.
The residential price of attending one of the camps is $550, and the commuter price is $475. If campers register by May 1, they will receive a $50 discount.
The Commuter Option allows camp participants to be dropped off in the morning (30 minutes before first training session), and picked up in the evening (usually 9:30 P.M) for a day-only experience. Residential campers stay on campus and sleep in the dormitory during the entire camp session. The price for the Residential campers is higher as it covers lodging and breakfast.
In 2014, the annual summer camps had players from Canada (Vancouver, BC & Toronto, ON), Spain (Madrid), Puerto Rico as well as many out of state players from Kansas, Florida, West Virginia, Michigan, Oklahoma, Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey and the list goes on. The ID Camps have a limited enrollment, so sign up early to take advantage of this exciting opportunity.

7:30 A.M: Breakfast
9:00 A.M: Training Session

2:00 P.M: Training Session II / Small Sided Games
4:30 P.M: Dinner
6:00 P.M: Full Field Matches
9:00 P.M: Pizza & Lecture Series
