- With a hat trick in just the first 17 minutes, senior Kirstie Connor

"I was just really excited about how assertively we played today," said Temple head coach Bonnie Rosen
. "La Salle is always a really difficult team to play and it was great to take a game from the start against them. It was really a wonderful game for our team from our goalkeeping through to our offense."
Connor's first two goals came in just over six minutes of action, and after a Pinkerton goal in the 15th minute, Connor added a third to complete the hat trick and make it 4-0 Temple. Before halftime, sophomore Nicole Barretta
scored Temple's third free-position goal in a row to give the Owls a 5-0 lead at the break.
Temple added one more before La Salle got on the board in the fifth minute of the second half. Katelyn Fay scored the goal for the Explorers, and she went on to score the second for her team with just over a minute left in the game.
After La Salle's first goal, Temple ran off seven in a row. McDermott assisted on three in a row in that stretch, the first by sophomore Anna Frederick
before Glassford and Schwaab also scored. Wrapping up the Owls' scoring was junior Carly Demato
with the 13th goal in the 57th minute of the game.
